Aghaaz means the beginning. This is where the road starts for most of our guests. Three days in Baltistan, built for people who want their first proper taste of the region without committing to a longer journey. You will arrive at Skardu airport to a private Prado, stay two nights at a boutique mountain lodge, and spend your days at Shangrila Resort, Upper Kachura Lake, and the centuries-old Shigar Fort. The pace is unhurried because Mubarik knows the route by memory and builds margin into every day. Most guests leave already planning their return. Aghaaz Retreat is the gentlest possible introduction to a region that rewards slowness.
