Why We Don't Sell Packages

off-the-shelf tours.

Off-the-shelf tours miss the point

Most operators sell the same 5-day Skardu itinerary to everyone. Shangrila on day one. Cold desert on day two. Same bus, same schedule. We build every trip from scratch: your group, your pace, your hotels.

Your group, your vehicle

Every Raahi trip is private. You travel with your own people in your own Land Cruiser Prado. No strangers on the bus. No waiting for other passengers to finish lunch.

Routes most operators don't run

We run Hushe Valley, Kondus, Shigar to Khaplu via Basha, and routes into restricted areas few operators know how to navigate. Our team was born here. That knowledge isn't available on a booking platform.

Day-by-day routing

Through Skardu, Shigar, Khaplu, Hushe, Hunza, and Deosai. Every leg timed to road conditions and daylight. We know which roads open in which month.

Hotel selection

From our vetted shortlist only: boutique properties we've personally visited. No algorithm picks, no aggregator results. Every hotel is chosen for your specific itinerary.

Private 4x4 vehicle

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado or above for the full trip. Your driver knows these roads by season, not by GPS. Mountain driving here requires that kind of knowledge.

Airport transfers

In Skardu and all road legs between destinations. Name board at arrivals, vehicle waiting, no scrambling on arrival day.

Entry ticketing

For national parks, heritage sites, and restricted areas. We sort permits in advance. No scrambling at the gate on the day.

Real-time support

WhatsApp contact throughout your journey. Itinerary adjustments if weather or road conditions shift mid-trip. Someone always reachable.

Send a WhatsApp message with your dates, group size, and the places or experiences that matter to you. A rough idea is enough to start.

We build a draft itinerary

Within 24 hours we send a day-by-day draft: hotels we've vetted, routes timed to road conditions, transparent pricing. No guesswork.

Refine it together

One or two rounds of WhatsApp back-and-forth. Add Deosai, swap a hotel, extend a night in Shigar. We adjust until it's exactly what you want.

We confirm, you travel

Once confirmed, we lock hotels and vehicles, send all details, and meet you at Skardu airport with a name board and a Land Cruiser.

Common Questions

Before you ask.

How far in advance should I book?

Peak season is June through September. For summer travel, reach out 4-6 weeks in advance: vetted hotels fill fast and vehicle availability narrows. Off-peak is more flexible, but planning early gives you better hotel options across every season.

What does a custom trip cost?

It depends on your group size, dates, hotels, and trip length. We don't publish fixed rates because the price is built around your actual itinerary. Send us your dates and group size and we give you a transparent breakdown, line by line.

What's included in a Raahi trip?

All ground transport with a local driver, vetted boutique accommodation, airport transfers, entry tickets to parks and heritage sites, and a WhatsApp contact throughout. International flights and personal expenses are separate. Meals can be pre-arranged on request.

How does the planning conversation work?

Start with one message: your dates, group size, and what you have in mind. We respond within 24 hours with a draft itinerary. One or two rounds of edits via WhatsApp and everything is confirmed. Most trips are planned within 48-72 hours.

Can I travel solo with Raahi?

Yes. We've planned solo trips, couples retreats, small families, and larger groups. The process is the same. The itinerary, pacing, and hotel choices all adjust to how you actually travel.

What's the best time to visit Skardu and Hunza?

The main window is May through October. June through August is peak season: roads fully open, Deosai accessible, weather at its clearest. April and October are quieter with fewer crowds. Deosai is closed November through May due to snow.

Do you help with flights to Skardu?

We don't book flights, but we advise on schedules. PIA operates the Skardu (KDU) route. Mountain weather causes frequent cancellations in all seasons. We always build in a buffer day at the end of your itinerary for this reason.
